In PowerPoint presentations, slides Master controls the appearance of the presentation. Changes made on the Master slide may affect each slide in the presentation, although you always have the option to apply only changes to the slide that you are working. The Slide Master provides an excellent way to add standard elements, such as logos or page numbers, a slide show.
To access the Master slide, select View> Slide Master. In Office 2007, the Slide Master card can be found at the far left of the screen. From the Slide Master card, you can control all the main elements of a slide, including design, titles, footers and their attributes, colors, fonts, effects, backgrounds and styles slide orientation. Changes made in the Slide Master affect each slide in the presentation unless you indicate otherwise.
The Slide Master contains text and graphics placeholders. A placeholder is a pre-formatted text box where you can insert the title or body text of your slide. You can also insert graphics, charts or other previously identified elements, depending on the type of placeholder that apply.
You can insert and remove placeholders. To insert a placeholder, select Insert Placeholder is on the tape. Select the type of placeholder you want to add. To remove a variable, select it and press Delete. You can also select Delete from the Edit menu, or right click on the placeholder and select Delete.
Positioners can be moved around the slide as any other object graph. To move a placeholder in the Master of slides, select it and drag it to the location of their choice.
Positioners have resizing handles at the corners and along the midpoints of the placeholders that let you determine how much space the slide in the placeholder consumed. To change the size of a variable, activate the calibration is responsible for clicking on the placeholder. Select the proper sizing handle and drag the placeholder to resize it.
As you add and subtract placeholders note that any changes you make in the Slide Master may affect each slide in his presentation.
