His age old question: Pinball Machine or Arcade Game?
His tough a call! Most of us not fortunate enough to have money and / or space for both. If it does, considered one of the lucky ones.
Obviously they are two different types of machines that have a very different fan base. In general, but certainly not all the time, the arcade machines tend to have a couple after their counterparts in pinball.
But the most important thing to remember is what goes well with the machines. How does the game fit the decor of your home.
For example, arcade games tend to go very well with a room that has more than a college atmosphere. You should college banners, as well as ping pong table, big screen television, and so on.
Pinball machines have a more complex (for lack of a better word) people. Give the impression that an elegant bachelor pad. Perfect for a games room with darts, snooker, etc..
Pinball machines also can work perfectly with the decor of the house. For example if you put a game arcade in the room or hall which tend to keep out like a sore thumb. Meanwhile pinball machines can work under the right circumstances.
I do not care who you are. Seeing an old pinball machine of the 1950's in someone's home just adds an element of "cool". Like an old hanging on the wall adds a lot of charm to the presentation of a home.
